Hope you're ready for the weekend! Tonight I'm off to a wine reception at my faculty (there's karaoke planned afterwards too!!). Hate to complain about the weather again, but it's still raining and shows no sign of stopping, so this weekend I'm going to catch up with a few of my far-away friends over skype. On Sunday I'm going to a screening of this cute film at the cinema, and am planning on making some of these, I think they'd be delicious with ice-cream. This weekend we're forecast monsoons and gales, a month's worth of rain in two days - batten down the hatches! At least I'll have a good excuse to get stuck into some more Victorian reading - I made a start on this book the other day. Tonight I'm off to an exhibition opening, probably wearing wellington boots, and over the weekend I'm definitely going to be making a toast to World Gin Day from the comfort of my living room while feeding my new addiction to Game of Thrones. Hope you've got some exciting plans (and nice weather) in store for the next couple of days. If you're lucky enough to see the sun make sure you squeeze a picnic in.

How's you weekend shaping up? I'm off to an Irish wedding (my first Irish wedding!) with some of my girlfriends this weekend. It's on the west coast, very close to the beach - hurray! I'm planning on getting a couple of sandy runs in while I'm there, it looks beautiful. Hope the sunshine holds out for us and the four hour bus ride goes quickly, I might download an audio book to pass the time. Have a wonderful weekend.

Hope you've got a lazy weekend lined up like this chap. Friday Feelings

How are your weekend plans shaping up? I'm having a deep tissue massage on Saturday, it sounds a bit painful doesn't it, and I might try my hand at making warm cinnamon rolls for Sunday breakfast. The temperatures dropped here this week, but only to -5C thankfully. No double digits for Dublin....yet, anyway. Hope you have a nice, warm weekend.

Friday Feelings

Tonight I plan on drinking a big glass of red wine and putting my feet up. It's one of those weekends where I have nothing planned. Maybe it will involve lying on the sofa and starting a new book, or huddling up in bed watching movies and drinking tea. There must be something in the wet, grey January air, because I seem to have lost any interest in leaving the apartment. Hope you have a fun time this weekend, whether your inside or out!
